Thrifty College Tip: Rent Your Books and Save Big

Tuesday, January 01, 2013

This is a sponsored post for Campus Book Rentals. All opinions and views are 100% my own.

Any college student or parent of a college student knows that it takes a lot of time and effort to be successful in college. Time, effort, and A LOT of reading.

If you're a full time student like I am, you can take anywhere from 9 to 4 different classes in one year. That means you're buying 9-4 books for those classes. Not to mention, if you're buying these books with student loans you're paying more in interest later. That can really add up!

Campus Book Rentals helps ease some of the financial college burden. This amazing resource rents you the books you need at a fraction of the cost of buying them.

For example, this book was required for an accounting class that I took last year and it cost me $264.00.

To rent that very same book for a four month period is only $16.02! That's a huge difference! Check out the book and the amazing good deal from Campus Book Rentals.

And that's not even the best part. There's no shipping cost to you at all! They pay to ship the books both ways. What could be better than that?

Maybe making money??? You can also rent out your books that you have to make a little extra cash on the side. Renting your books rather than selling them allows you to make 2 to 4 time more. Then, when then books become too old to use it's sold and the proceeds go to you.

For more information and a great video explanation, check out Campus Book Rentals Rentback program.

If you or anyone you know is paying way too much money for their college books, tell them to check out Campus Book Rentals for a valuable alternative.

  1. Both my girls are now way pass University/College status, but this would have been great for them to know about! Not sure that there's anything like this in the UK, but will be sharing this with both of them: they are sufficiently entrepreneurial to possibly set it up, if there isn't!

Happy New Year - and all the best for your future!

  2. Such an awesome tip! I will be forwarding this on to my brother. He was just complaining about book costs and everything. He will be thrilled to check this site out. I know when I was in college, I was pissed cause some books you couldn't sell back to the book store, so this is a great alternative.
