Do You Smash?

Do you have a SMASH Book? Do you know what a SMASH Book is?

In my opinion it's the coolest new thing ever! If you haven't stumbled upon this creative new brand, check out the quick video below. It explains everything.

Isn't that cool? The last few times I've been to Micheals I have seen these on a big endcap but I've never taken the time to stop and really look at them. Then I saw them online and watched the YouTube video and went out and bought one the next day!

My SMASH Book in Doodle Red

This isn't a new trend really. It's like a new take on scrapbooking. People have kept scrapbooks and "junk journals" for years. They put in all the little things that they don't want to throw away like receipts, notes, ticket stubs, greeting cards, pictures, name tags, anything and everything.

Here are some suggestions from the book

I've always wanted to be a scrapbooker but it takes a lot of time and creativity to plan out all the page themes and get the pictures around. I haven't been able to keep up on one yet.

What's great about the SMASH Book is that all the pages are already taken care of for you. They come in all kinds of styles of paper already neatly bound in a really cute book.

Some of my favorite Doodle Style Pages

And the absolute best part about the entire package...

The Pen

The pen with the glue stick in it! Honestly, the pen is what sold me. I just can't get over how truly ingenious it is! And it has its own little spot to keep it with the book.

For my first page I put in the receipt for my book with some doodles and notes. I have a feeling that I am going to really like this smashing thing!

Do you want your own SMASH Book now?

Shop for a SMASH Book here

The link takes you to K&Company's website where you can see all the different journals and extra embellishments they sell. There are two different sizes on journals and there a style out there for everyone too!

This is an opinion post. I was not compensated for writing it or reviewing the SMASH Book in any way.

  1. I love this post. As a matter of fact, I smashed today. :) I got my book a few weeks ago and started cutting out little quips of encouragement and putting in there. Today I spent several hours putting things in there. --I like it better than scrap-booking. --It feels more free as it doesn't have to be photos of my actual life.

  13. I had no idea what a smash book was. I initial thought it was something along the lines of a smash cake but I usually have cake on the brain :). Now, I want both a smash book and a smash cake.

  14. I make my own smash books using those composition notebooks. I cover the front in scrapbook paper and then put pictures, receipts, and just little things I want to remember from a trip. Right now the only one I have in the works is a travel one.
