Easy Beaded Barefoot Sandals

Thursday, July 19, 2012

I've seen these barefoot sandals around lately so I thought I'd give them a try. And just as I suspected they are super easy to make!

The only supplies I used to make these barefoot sandals were clear plastic stretch cord that I bought for $2.99 and some beads I already had at home.

This is what I came up with.

To make these, Cut a long piece of stretch cord or elastic cord. Find the middle and tie it in a loop around your second toe. (not too tight) String beads through both pieces of the cord until you have reached the ankle.

Then separate the ends and string beads on both sides until you have enough to go all the way around the ankle. Tie the pieces together in a tight knot and then trim your ends.

They even fit nicely underneath flip flops, so you can wear them to the beach and them kick off your shoes and style up the sand!

This craft project was just way too easy to only do one pair. The bead shown above are going to be my next barefoot sandals.

Maybe if people request it, I will to a tutorial with the next pair. Let me know if you want one.

Thanks for stopping by!

  26. Although the hot weather, it’s best for you to switch from shoes to comfortable slippers. You can still look fashionable, feminine and beautiful pair of sandals.
