2X4 Furniture: Simple, Inexpensive & Great-Looking Projects You Can Make
By Stevie Henderson, 1993

This book is completely amazing! It's full of great projects for inside and outside your home made from 2X4 boards. It has easy to follow instructions and a list of all the materials and cuts you will need.

Here are some of my favorite projects from the book..

The Rustic Chest

The Armoire

The Country Bench

The Barbecue Surround

And my favorite....

The Patio Chairs w/ The Outdoor Table

I came across this book this last week when my dad brought it over and asked me to pick out a project from it for him to make for me. I really needed something for my front porch so I picked a patio chair from the ones shown above.

An look what I got...

They look great!! He did an amazing job and how cool is it that I got two chairs and a table! I'm so lucky!

My dad said that making all of the cuts took him about 3 hours and then on the next day he assembled them in around three hours as well. So this project could totally be done in a day.

I am currently hard at work on all my outside areas and I'll share more pics of the chairs when I get everything set up.

Until then if you think this book is as cool as I do you can get one yourself! Click Here to go to Amazon to get yours. There are currently a bunch for sale!
